What a lovely week... I feel incredibly lucky!
Hi all,
Another great week, although maybe not weather wise. I have been working hard at home on lots of new recipes for some really exciting projects, I promise will tell you about them as soon as I am able, this is a new thing for me to just work on something so creative and which I feel so very passionate about and I feel incredibly lucky to have been given this opportunity.
Also this week I had the pleasure of doing two things very close to my heart locally, both involved schools and children. The first was the opportunity to open Perins new Cafe and run a cookery class and Q&A with the year 9's. I hope the kids enjoyed it as much as I did, they were so full of questions and we tried to get as many cooking and interacting as possible.
Secondly I got invited to open the local Primary schools Hopes and Dreams Garden. I am still pinching myself that I was standing the other side of the children not as a mum watching on. It was a really lovely experience: the children all blowing bubbles and making a wish, as well as some of them reading out their hopes and wishes for the future.
Thinking of the future I am really hoping for sunny skies tomorrow as off to a wedding. Am feeling it is a romantic week as it was also our anniversary this week. With that in mind the recipe published later on today is for a lovely dinner for two. I hope you like it.
Wishing everyone a great weekend.
